Christians in Pakistan Are Paying a Costly Price for Their Faith
Pakistan's 1.6% Christian population faces systemic discrimination in employment, housing, and education. Blasphemy laws — often misused — have destroyed innocent lives, torn families apart, and forced believers to flee their homes. Many Christians in Pakistan are among the nation's poorest because of their faith.
When a Pakistani accepts Christ or remains faithful under pressure, they often face immediate consequences: job loss, family rejection, community expulsion, and in extreme cases, violence. Good Samaritan Ministries exists to ensure no believer faces that alone.
We are the hands and feet of the global Church reaching Pakistan's persecuted minority — with emergency food, legal aid, safe housing, medical support, and the unwavering message that they are not forgotten.
Blasphemy Laws
Pakistan's blasphemy laws carry the death penalty and are frequently weaponized against Christians — destroying lives, separating families, and forcing flight from entire communities.
Job & Housing Discrimination
Christian families are routinely denied employment and housing based on faith. Many work the most dangerous, lowest-paid jobs — sweeping streets, cleaning sewers — because of discrimination.
Family & Community Rejection
New converts to Christianity face total rejection from Muslim families. Many lose everything — home, income, family relationships — in the moment they choose Christ.
Six Ways GSM Stands With the Persecuted
Emergency Food & Relief
When a family is expelled from their home or loses their income because of faith, GSM provides immediate emergency food packages, shelter support, and essentials.
Legal Aid & Advocacy
We partner with legal experts to assist Christians facing blasphemy charges or unjust persecution — providing representation, documentation, and advocacy before authorities.
Pastoral Care & Counselling
Our pastors visit persecuted believers personally — bringing prayer, the Word of God, and the assurance that they are not alone. Spiritual care is as urgent as physical aid.
Safe Housing Assistance
Families forced to flee persecution need immediate shelter. GSM works with partner churches to provide temporary and longer-term safe housing for displaced Christian families.
Medical Support
Persecution frequently leads to physical harm. GSM assists persecuted believers with access to medical care, hospital support, and recovery assistance.
Education for Children
Children of persecuted families are enrolled in our free Christian schools — ensuring that persecution does not rob the next generation of an education and a future.
