2025: A Year of Joy, Sorrow, and Faith in Jesus – Reflections by Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir

December 1, 2025 3 min read

A Message from Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir, President of Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan

A Year of Joy, Sorrow, and Awakening

2025 was a year of joy and sorrow–yet also a year that awakened many people to common sense. President Donald Trump took his second oath of office in January, and we have seen his sacrifices and efforts for peace in the Middle East and many other parts of the world. We also witnessed great tragedy, including the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Innocent people continued to suffer in wars, and the ongoing genocide of Christians in Nigeria and other regions has deeply shaken the world.

The Importance of Biblical Values in Society

In many ways, nothing seems new–yet something is new and very important: people with common sense, in the West and in many nations, have begun to realize that they need the God of the Bible in their lives and in every aspect of society. Biblical values have shaped the world and contributed greatly to areas such as technology, medicine, science, law, education, and human dignity.

Preparing for Miracles and Breakthroughs in 2026

As we enter this month of December 2025, I encourage you to prepare your heart, set your life in order, have faith in Jesus, and read your Bible. You will see miracles and breakthroughs in 2026–things you have been waiting and dreaming for. God is going to reshape this world, and the entire earth will feel His hand. Come to the Ark of Eternal Life and save your soul–Jesus is that Ark today. It is time now. Tell someone about Jesus today.

Prayer for Leaders and Nations

I am not an American, and I know some may be upset that I mentioned President Donald Trump. But God has spared his life twice, and as the President of the United States, his leadership affects the whole world. It is important for us to pray for him and his family. From day one, he has placed God first publicly. During his inauguration, multiple prayers were offered, and the name of Jesus was lifted and glorified like never before in my lifetime.

Yes, he is not perfect–but neither are we. All have flaws. Read your Bible again and look at the great men and women of Scripture; you will find none perfect except God alone. Even Jesus said, “No one is good–except God alone” (Mark 10:18).

Challenges in the World Today

Today in the USA and the Western world, we see many challenges–social, cultural, and spiritual. These are not simply political issues but moral and spiritual battles. Let us thank God for leaders who stand with courage–President Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and many other men and women around the world who are speaking wisdom and truth in difficult times.

Prayers for the United Kingdom and the World

From the United Kingdom, where I am living, I pray that the Lord Jesus will bless this country again, restore its glory, and strengthen it one more time. This is my prayer for 2026–that all God’s children and every innocent human being of every faith experience God’s grace and love, and that we all find true peace through Jesus Christ.
May the Lord Jesus bless the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan (my country of birth), North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, the Caribbean, and every corner of this beautiful earth God has given us. I have friends in many nations, and I pray God’s blessings upon all of you.

I love you all in the name of Jesus.
