Thousands Received Jesus and Free Urdu Bibles
A three-month report on Free Urdu Bible distribution across Pakistan — November 2023 to January 2024

By the grace of God, Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan continued its mission to place the eternal Word of God into the hands of those who hunger for truth. Between November 2023 and January 2024, hundreds of free Urdu Bibles were distributed across Punjab and Sindh provinces, reaching new believers, persecuted families, and communities that had never before held a copy of the Holy Scriptures in their own language.
November 2023 — Gospel Outreach Programs
In November, our teams organized multiple outreach events across rural Punjab. Free Urdu Bibles were distributed during evening Gospel meetings where Pastor Naeem Nasir and local church leaders shared the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Many families in remote villages received the Word of God for the very first time. Tears of joy filled the eyes of those who had been praying for years to own a Bible in Urdu. During these programs, over 300 free Urdu Bibles were given to new believers and seekers who expressed a desire to know more about the love of Christ.
Local pastors and church planters also received copies to use in their newly established house churches. These Bibles became essential tools for discipleship and spiritual growth in communities where Christian resources are extremely scarce.
December 2023 — Christmas Bible Distribution
December was a season of extraordinary blessing. As Pakistan’s Christians celebrated the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, Good Samaritan Ministries organized special Christmas programs in multiple cities and villages. Free Urdu Bibles were distributed as the greatest Christmas gift — the living Word of God.
During Christmas gatherings, worship services, and community events, over 500 Urdu Bibles reached the hands of hungry souls. Children, young people, women, and elderly believers all received their own copy of the Scriptures. Many of these recipients had never owned a Bible before, and the joy on their faces was a powerful testimony to the importance of this mission.
Pastor Naeem Nasir shared, “When we place a Bible into someone’s hands, we are not just giving them a book. We are giving them the very words of God — words that have the power to transform lives, heal broken hearts, and bring eternal salvation.”
January 2024 — New Year, New Beginnings
As the new year began, the hunger for God’s Word only grew stronger. In January 2024, Good Samaritan Ministries continued distributing free Urdu Bibles through church planting activities, Bible study groups, and door-to-door evangelism efforts. Our teams visited communities in both urban and rural areas, sharing the Gospel and distributing Bibles to all who desired to receive one.
Over 400 Urdu Bibles were distributed during this month alone. Many recipients were from Muslim backgrounds who had shown interest in learning about the Christian faith. Others were Christians from persecuted communities who had lost their belongings — including their Bibles — during attacks on their neighborhoods.
One elderly woman in a village near Lahore held her new Urdu Bible close to her heart and said with tears streaming down her face, “I have prayed for 20 years to have my own Bible. God has finally answered my prayer through your ministry.”
The Impact of Free Urdu Bibles
Over these three months, Good Samaritan Ministries distributed more than 1,200 free Urdu Bibles across Pakistan. Each Bible represents a life touched by the grace of God, a family strengthened in faith, and a community drawn closer to the truth of the Gospel.
