A Mission of Good Samaritan Ministries Pakistan
to Rescue, Restore, and Rebuild the Lives of Oppressed Brick Kiln Workers!

The Brick Kiln Project is dedicated to ending modern-day slavery in Pakistan by rescuing families trapped in bonded labor. After paying off the debts that have kept them enslaved for decades, we provide legal support, vocational training, and empowerment to help them regain their freedom. Our mission is to offer hope, dignity, and self-sufficiency to those affected by the exploitation in the brick kiln industry.
Brick Kilns in Pakistan
Bonded Laborers
Average Debt
The system is designed to keep them enslaved. High interest rates, wage deductions, and false calculations ensure workers can never repay. Children inherit their parents’ debts, creating generational slavery.
Many of these workers are Christian minorities who already face discrimination, low wages, and limited opportunities. For them, the brick kiln becomes a deadly cycle of poverty from which they cannot escape without your help.

Hungry families take advances just to feed their children.
A single illness or injury forces them into debt.
Cultural pressure to marry off daughters pushes families deeper into bondage.
Old loans are rolled over with crushing interest, trapping generations.
In Pakistan, the brick kiln industry is notorious for exploiting vulnerable populations. Families are trapped in a cycle of debt, where they are forced to work for years to pay off loans that often seem impossible to repay. As a result, entire families become enslaved and work long hours in extreme conditions for minimal pay.
Bonded labor is illegal, but it remains a significant issue in the country due to lack of enforcement, ignorance, and widespread corruption. Children are also exploited in these kilns, contributing to the cycle of poverty and bondage.
Our Brick Kiln Project aims to break this cycle of bonded labor and provide the workers a way out of slavery. Through this initiative, we seek to:
•Rescue families from bonded labor: Identifying individuals and families trapped in the brick kiln industry and offering them an opportunity to escape.
•Provide legal assistance: We offer legal support to help families gain their freedom and secure their rights.
•Restore dignity: We work to restore the dignity of those impacted by slavery by providing them with alternative sources of income, vocational training, and a fresh start.
•Empower individuals: The project provides practical skills, education, and resources to help individuals and families become self-sufficient.

The Brick Kiln Project operates by identifying workers and families who are enslaved in brick kilns. Once a family is identified, we step in to offer immediate assistance, including:
1.Rescue and Relocation: We offer safe relocation for families, ensuring they are removed from the harsh working conditions.
2.Debt Repayment: We work with legal organizations to clear any unjust debts that have kept families trapped in labor.
3.Vocational Training: After rescue, we provide skill development and vocational training in various trades such as sewing, carpentry, and farming, which allows them to earn a sustainable income.
4.Social Reintegration: We ensure that the families are socially reintegrated into their communities with access to support systems such as counseling, health care, and education for their children.
